Ford disclosed that 65-year-old James Hance Jr., a Carlyle Group senior adviser, will serve on the board’s audit committee, finance committee and nominating and governance committee. It was in 2005 that Hance retired from Bank of America Corp. after 18 years of holding various posts, including chief financial officer and vice chairman. In the same year, he started serving on the Sprint Nextel board. Hance also serves on the board of directors for Cousins Properties Inc., Morgan Stanley, and Duke Energy Corp.
