KIA KND 5 VG

Kia has released new images of its KND-5 concept car, which previews the forthcoming VG near-luxury sedan. Kia will use the upcoming Seoul International Motor Show in April to show the car to the public and press. A concept in name only, the car is expected to enter production in September. Nissan believes that this range should be ample given the number of people who drive less than those 100 miles in s day (the figure stands at 80%).


2011 Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition US Pricing Announced


The Americans get their first shot at buying the 2011 Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition later this month with a price tag of $38,860. The Fairlady Z was expected to cost much more in the US when the commuter was first unveiled but Nissan has managed to keep the pricing affordable. What is more is that the Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition will be a limited edition model in the US will only 1,000 units available for purchase. Peculiar 40th Anniversary signatures on the exterior include, badges, high-luster smoke wheel finish and red brake calipers. On the inside the car features 40th Anniversary debossed seatback and floormat embroidery, red stitching on the centre stack and a commemorative premium satin car cover making the edition exclusive.



2010 Nissan Qashqai Facelift Announced

The new Nissan Qashqai is expected to get a facelift next year in spring 2009, or at least that’s what Nissan UK has announced. Other than bringing a revised exterior that includes a new front bumper, a revised front grille, an all-new bonnet, and upgraded headlights, the 2010 Nissan Qashqai is also getting two new colors, Magnetic Red and Mineral Grey. And did you see those stylish 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels or the white LCD dashboard on the inside? Price wise, the standard 1.6-litre Visia 2WD manual costs £15,395, the Tekna 2.0 dCi AWD automatic goes for £25,745 while the Qashqai+2 Tekna 2.0 dCi AWD auto will make you spend £26,845.

2010 Nissan Rogue Krom Edition Breaks Cover

Nissan North America has added the Rogue edition to its Krom Speciality vehicles line-up as a 2010 model that will go on sale as early as December 2009. The 2010 Nissan Rogue Krom Edition has been added to give the compact sport utility vehicle a more aggressive sport styling using exclusive 17-inch wheels and a sport-tuned exhaust.
Available with an FWD transmission as well as AWD configurations. As far as the colour choices go, buyers will be able to choose between Venom Red, Wicked Black and Gotham Gray. When it comes to designing, the Rogue Krom is not short of sportiness courtesy of an unique grille embedded in the front fascia along with fog lights. The sporty themes runs on the back with a center-exit exhaust, a body coloured rear spoiler and a rear privacy glass. Completing the Krom theme is a Krom emblem and steering mounted audio controls on the inside. The pricing on the limited edition Rogue Krom has not been unveiled as yet.


2010 Nissan GT-R unveiled in Tokyo


The Nissan GTR (Skyline) Supercar has been staged at the Tokyo Motor Show with some admirable tweaks going into next year as the 2010 model which will be available as early as January. Although a new model altogether wasn’t expected, the updates for the entire GT-R lineage are timely. For starters, the updated GT-R comes with a new CARWINGS HDD-based navigation system and it gets the rear diffuser from the GT-R SpecV. The 2010 Nissan GT-R comes with stiffened rear suspension radius rod bushings, front shock absorbers and springs which together help in recalibrating the suspension. In Japan the updated GT-R will cost 8,610,000 yen while the range topping Spec V will be sold for 15,750,000 yen.

Nissan GT-R gets Facelift from Wald

Let’s make it clear. The new Nissan GT-R doesn’t need any add-ons to make it even more spectacular than it is, but hell, who are we to argue with guys that think it doesn’t pay homage to sportscars. For that reason, Wald International decided to brew their own body package (nothing on the engine side …) that will make you fall in love with it, if you haven’t yet. It includes more carbon-fibre parts to make it lighter, a custom built a front-lip spoiler and nose cover, a rear wing and is all wrapped in a glossy finish typically used for street cars (wet carbon fibre) or a dull matte grey color (dry carbon fibre). Nissan 370Z – all you need to know about it !

Nissan found a really nice way to say Happy New Year to those passionate about speed and style. Debuted in November at the LA Auto Show, their 2009 Nissan 370Z got more specs out including a price. The super coupe is replacing the older 350Z, and is now powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 332 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque.
Starting at $29,930 for the base version (6-speed transmission), the 370Z Coupe hops at $31,230 if you’d like the 7-speed automatic brings the total to $31,230. The other version the car will be offered in, the Touring model, starts at $34,460 with the 6-speed manual or $35,760 with the aforementioned automatic.

600hp Godzilla Package for Nissan GT-R from Hennessey

Now why in the world would you want to take something as f inely balanced as the Nissan GT-R and modify using it a tuning kit that is named ‘Godzilla Package’? The Texas-based tuner Hennessey, released a 600 hp upgrade for the GT-R along with air induction system, electronic boost control, an improved wastegate actuator, and front-mount intercooler system. Nissan has revealed the freshly re-styled 2010 Nissan Altima and also announced the 2010 Nissan Altima price list. The model is available in three versions: sedan, coupe, and hybrid. In a release, the company said that the Altima 3.5 SE trim level has been renamed to 3.5 SR.

Powering the car is either a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder unit developing 175 horsepower or a 3.5-liter V6 configuration that generates 270 horsepower. The 2010 Nissan Altima is estimated to output 198 hp (148 kW). The hybrid model has a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder powerplant and standard electronically-controlled CVT with an advanced electric unit.

The 2010 Nissan Altima price starts at $19,900 for the Altima Sedan 2.5 S 2.5L I4 CVT and goes as high as $29,600 for the Altima Coupe 3.5 SR 3.5 V6 6MT.

Kia World has scored the first official photos of the 2010 Kia Sorento, and from the looks of things, it's in keeping with the other marked improvements the automaker has been making to its lineup.
