A car which uses more than one distinct power sources to move the vehicle is known as hybrid car. The different types of power sources used in a hybrid cars may include any two of following such as Hydrogen, Gasoline or Diesel fuel, Compressed air, On-board or out-board RESS, Liquid nitrogen, Solar, Human powered e.g. pedaling or rowing, Wind, Compressed or liquefied natural gas, Waste heat.
